The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation and the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau are excited to collaborate once again to host this year’s Small Business Saturday city-wide event on November 25th in Copperas Cove.
Amex first created Small Business Saturday® to encourage support for small businesses back in 2010. This day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and creates excitement for shopping small and shopping local for the holiday shopping season.
This year, the event will run similarly to last year’s with brick-and-mortar businesses and home-based businesses participating.
Several brick-and-mortar stores will host home-based businesses for the day, and there will also be a pop-up market location to make extra room for home-based businesses this year. A full list of locations will be released once finalized.
Fun for shoppers includes not only finding unique holiday gifts but also several chances to win amazing prizes! Each shopper will be given a Small Business Saturday passport which they can get stamped at each participating business location. Completed stamped passports will be entered into raffle prize drawings. In addition to that prize level, customers will be given a raffle ticket for each $25 they spend at participating businesses to be entered into the top-tier raffles. Another easy way to potentially win a raffle prize is to snap a photo while shopping small at a participating business during the event, and post it publicly to Facebook tagging The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation and Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce.
For shoppers, the event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Following the event, shoppers and vendors are invited to a Small Business Saturday “Wine Down” event at Campfire Bar & Grill. 207 S. 3rd St. Suite 200, Copperas Cove, TX 76522 254-547-7874
