Community Wildfire Protection Plan

National Resources Solutions, L.C. is in the process of developing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) for Coryell County. A CWPP is a comprehensive plan that identifies and mitigates risks associated with wildfires and is developed through a collaborative effort between local fire departments and citizens, as well as state and federal agencies. One necessary element needed for a CWPP is input from the public.

To engage local citizens, National Resources Solutions, L.C. will host a series of public meetings to discuss the progress of the CWPP and provide the opportunity for the public to voice their concerns regarding wildfires. The first public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 23^rd at 6pm at the Gatesville City Auditorium, located at 110 N. 8^th Street, Gatesville. Subsequent meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, September 20^th and Wednesday, October 11^th.
