About Us

Altrusa is an international non-profit who has provided service to our communities since our formation in 1917. Altrusa’s focus is literacy, but explores all ways to improve our communities. Our projects may include scholarships for higher education, reading and literacy programs for children and adults, support for the homeless, feeding our hungry both locally and internationally, and so much more.
